W08 Reflection: Entrepreneurial Journal

My biggest takeaways from this week were to never give up, trust in the Lord, have a good attitude, believe in good things to come, don’t underestimate yourself, and the 5 why’s.

To start off I will talk about never giving up. It can be easy to give up and throw in the towel when things get hard. I think that if we truly try our hardest and do what we can, the Lord will take care of the rest. It is crucial that we endure to the end.

The next topic that I will talk about trusting in the Lord. This one can go hand in hand with never giving up. The Lord will never give up on us no matter what we do. He will always be there for us. It might be hard to feel it at times and it might be hard to recognize his helping hand, but I think it is important for us to do our best to see and appreciate his help.

I also think that having a good attitude is very important. I have noticed in my own life that if I don’t have a good attitude, things just start to go wrong. For example, I woke up late and had to show up to my class late. I was frustrated that I didn’t wake up on time so I tried to hustle out the door. I couldn’t find my keys, I didn’t remember to fill up my water, I didn’t eat breakfast. All of these things made me even more frustrated. If I would’ve just slowed down a little bit, I would’ve had a better morning, I would’ve remembered where my keys were, I would’ve eaten breakfast, and filled up my water. But because I was so frustrated, It just kept getting worse. This also ties into believing in good things to come. If you are always angry and frustrated, it is not easy to believe in good things to come.

Underestimating yourself can be detrimental to your success. I don’t think that really anybody thinks they can do as much as they really can. I think that it is crucial to believe in yourself. If you do your best, the Lord will take care of the rest.
